The Royal Navy Marine Engineer Shadow Board came to MoD yesterday to discuss changes to their branch. Numerous ideas and challenges raised, which are hugely helpful to me as we seek to modernise the ME branch. And I kept my promise to get the beers in on completion!

The Royal Navy Football Association have awarded their first caps to former players who reached the milestone of 100 or more appearances for the senior service team. 👏⚓️

They were honoured at a ceremony at Portsmouth F(C) 🏆 last night ahead of the Navy v Army Inter Services clash! ⚽️

Really nice touch before tonight’s Royal Navy FA 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 game v Army at Fratton Park. Caps were awarded to all those former players who had achieved 100 caps or more. And our very own Chief Exec was awarded a 200+ cap! BZ Steve #legend

Delighted to present the Knight Cup to Royal Navy FA 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Senior Women’s team captain Lt Nat Bavister tonight. A tight game against the Army but they eventually came out 1-0 winners.

Our Royal Navy has for generations had many different nations proudly serving on ops together. And we’re better for it. Happy #CommonwealthDay

I signed an agreement today in London with Vice Admiral Eric Janicot for increased cooperation and exchange of people as part of a reinvigorated ‘Entente Navale’ for greater interoperability between the Royal Navy & Marine nationale 🇬🇧🇫🇷

I always enjoy reading citations for people who have gone the extra mile. Another thoroughly deserved Royal Navy commendation awarded today while I was in London and the opportunity for me to say thank you. BZ Cdr B!

British Defence Staff were honoured to attend a change of command ceremony at Naval Reactors, welcoming Adm. Bill Houston and celebrating outgoing admiral, and good friend of the UK, Frank Caldwell, whose dedication means the 🇬🇧-🇺🇸 submarine relationship is stronger today.

One of my recent highlights was being able to present a RN valedictory certificate to my dear friend Jamie Dible. We were once next door neighbours as junior officers and he is a true gentleman. Thank you for your service Cdr Dible!
