Maurkice recently announced his retirement; he was close with a lot of guys over the years but none quite like Big Ben. I wanted to commemorate Pouncey’s career and him & Ben’s friendship over the years.

Our first four today are by Cori Lee Marvindale at Marvindale art Canadian Watercolours artist .
I’ve posted a lot of her work over the years. It’s always appealing and is gentle and uplifting

Three little snippets of Railway ephemera and a gentleman thanking the engine driver. DrS says this was a common policy, especially if the train reached its destination punctually. I like the lawn roller poster...now they are heavy. My father had one

I was going to put the next four into a ‘four’ but decided they were good enough to be posted separately.
This one is by Richard Harpum. He’s a little undervalued as an artist but I noticed he seems to have joined the Miecklejohn umbrella of artists

I can always rely on Mike Freeman for a barge painting or two. This is interesting with the steam train. This artist is one of the best for vintage transport art.

Now I look at this again it is a bit blurry . Michael Salter artist

Sorry folks the final,barge painting I wanted to post to complete the four was very blurry but I’m sure this painting of Knaresborough by Richard Harpum is as acceptable

He says of the village Tickhill in South Yorkshire, South f Doncaster and is one of a couple of pretty, small towns in the area where he himself is a resident

I couldn’t find the painter of this pretty painting so I had to go digging around . Jang Yong Gil is the artist ( found at last) attractive elegant and easy on the eye. South Asian art.

Ethereal describes this work too Jang Yong Gil. So light and airy. This would be a wonderful piece to hang in a place where calm is needed . Hospital Dentist etc
