When you give away your love, time, energy, and body quickly and easily to men, what you’re telling them is that you don’t love and value who you are and what you have to offer. When you value yourself, a man has to prove that he’s worth it in order to be with him.

Just because you have a crush on a man, doesn’t mean you should date him or be in a relationship with him. I get too many women coming to me who fall for married men, men in toxic patterns, and men who don’t align with them on the important things. Use your heart AND your brain.

Stop looking to someone else to make you happy. Become the kind of person who is in charge of your own happiness and then only allow things into your life that enhance that happiness. If you’re dependent on others to be happy, you’ll have no control over how you feel.

When someone’s words and actions are out of alignment, always believe the WORST of the two. If a man treats you like he’s in a relationship with you but says that you’re “just hooking up” or “just friends,” he’s saying that you’re not in a relationship and you need to believe him
