You've never seen a bathtub quite this big! Last week, Lower 4 (Year 8) went on an expedition to Bath to explore The Roman Baths, learning about a bathing experience like no other and getting a glimpse of ordinary life more than 1,000 years ago.

Huge congratulations to Ava (Lower 5/Year 10) who not only secured a highly competitive place on Devon’s #BritishDressage Youth team recently, but then went on to win the regional championships!

Year 5 have recently been researching famous female naturalists for their Science poster homework! They included Jane Goodall, Sylvia Earle, Beatrix Potter, Bindi Irwin, Mary Anning, Margaret Murie, Birutė Galdikas and more. A really empowering exercise!

L5 (Y10) Latinists enjoyed a sunny morning studying local history, including the remains of a 15th-century almshouse, Athelstan's Tower, and a flying visit to the Royal Albert Memorial Museum, Exeter to see Benjamin Robert Haydon's impressive painting of the mythical Roman figure Marcus Curtius!
Yesterday's Chiefs at Maynard Masterclass and Festival was an absolutely smashing success!
Around 110 girls from local schools had a fabulously fun day learning rugby skills and playing matches, all alongside members of Exeter Chiefs Women.

Girls boldly embarking on their Gold The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award journey enjoyed two days of water skills training last weekend!
They took to the water between Dartington and Totnes in preparation for their qualifying expedition in August.

Girls in L4 (Y8) and U4 (Y9) had a wonderful time on their trip to Chateau d'Ebblinghem in France, travelling across the Channel to put their budding linguistic skills to good use and explore French culture together.

Girls from L4 (Y8) to L5 (Y10) are entering the EMACT (East Midlands Association of Classical Teachers) “Landscapes of Roman Britain” Competition, and Lower 4 enjoyed a fascinating tour of the Roman Walls around Exeter as part of their research!

The U13A and B cricket teams knocked it out of the park at their recent matches against Stover School! Everyone was absolutely brilliant: the U13A team won with 285 runs to 231, and the U13B team won with 314 runs to 217.

L5 (Y10) are currently doing a two-week homework assignment of creative responses to the poems they're studying in English. The first assignment to be finished is this wonderful cake by Livvy representing the poem 'Bayonet Charge' by Ted Hughes!
