There was a 4.8 magnitude earthquake that originated in New Jersey & was felt in the broader tri-state area and across Connecticut. There have been no critical incidents or damage reported in Stamford at this point. We will continue to monitor the situation & provide any updates.

I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Senator Joe Lieberman. He was a proud son of Stamford and a trailblazer in American politics. My thoughts and prayers are with the Lieberman family, including his wife Hadassah and their children, during this difficult time.

Starting Monday, March 4th, Summer Street between North Street & 707 Summer Street will be reduced to one 14' wide travel lane that will be comprised of the western parking lane and travel lane.

Work will conclude on Saturday, March 9th.
