This is the data that the Cass Review decided was 'inconclusive'. One would think that from 5 moderate quality studies that all show improvement, at least a tentatively positive conclusion can be drawn upon which to build!

It should also be clarified that the Cass Review didn’t downgrade studies for not being RCTs (the NOS is used to assess non-randomised trials) but did downgrade them for not having a non-treatment control group or if too many members of the control group got fed up and quit.

Also a 2018 Cornell review of available evidence covered a very similar amount of material and found the opposite conclusion (although in fairness to the Cornell review they didn't have any transphobes on the team)

The Cass review team messaged the media that they had found virtually no evidence supporting trans healthcare.

In fact they did find it. There are nuances buried in the systematic reviews. But these nuances also didn't find their way into the recommendations or conclusions.

Some (more) very serious questions raised here about the Cass Review. If you wanted to be sure it was not a Potemkin exercise in reaching a pre-determined outcome you'd certainly want answers.

Dr Cass has now done an interview with the Kite Trust in which she renounces some of things in her own report! I doubt this’ll matter since the report exists to be cited in support of what the NHS were already planning to do and have now done - further restrict healthcare

Wow I think everyone should read this interview with Dr Cass's team because they very clearly say pretty much the exact opposite of what the media and the 'Gender Critical' movement have been saying

Becoming increasingly clear that the main problem these ghouls have with trans women playing women's sports is that they don't think there should be women's sports at all

People talk about the lack of long term follow up of trans patients, but you wouldn't believe what you find if you go following up what poster kid detransitioners from several years ago are doing (you might believe it)

Honestly, the report (and supporting remarks to the press, essays, and oped in the BMJ) is an artefact that allows us to solve these problems, because Cass has a long habit of telling people what they want to hear regardless to their face and then doing something different.
