The Online Business Registration System (OBRS)in Uganda has officially launched by Aminah Zawedde, the PS of the Ministry of ICT.The system was deployed in December 2022 &has been a game changer. The system,an initiative of Uganda Registration Services Bureau & funded by Ministry of ICT&NG.Special thanks to Government of Uganda .
As the Muslims approach the end of the fasting season, Uganda Registration Services Bureau hosted the Muslim staff community to a dinner last evening. May the fasting season promote forgiveness, unity, thanksgiving &togetherness in work spaces & beyond.
Uganda Registration Services Bureau hosted stakeholders for a performance report from July 2023-March 2024. So far, 30,000 businesses registered,50 mobile registration clinics done, 8,000 facilitated to access credit , 1,960 civil marriages done,152 churches licensed,over Ugx45 billion collected(👇)
