35 days later, we're back on board RRS Sir David Attenborough with our #AntarcticPICCOLO friends! We had an amazing field season on Seymour Island collecting fossil & rock samples to study marine ecosystem change across the Cretaceous-Paleogene boundary & through the Eocene.
Seeing the pure joy in Chris Bryant 's face during the Kingswood count tonight is just brilliant. So clear that he's not just happy to win, but to do something positive with a victory. Such great news.

We have our first evidence of growth in culture! This little one came to us at 260 x 205 µm and died at 350 x 220 µm (with some room for error for viewing angle). The new silica it added should have incorporated boron at a different pH than seawater. #proudparents
