Just like the dawn your sweet aster morning dews
Evening’s ghosts fade as we open a gift of today
Sudden recognition sambas as we make it real
A complete unknown intoxicates smiles we share.

How does it feel as we leave what used to be now

beneath

of despair
opening
her eyes
within
her soul
walking
forward
in the wake
of light
kissing
all darkness
goodbye
as she
butterflies
toward
a new
beginning
surrendering
only to the
power of the
universe

Into the dark
Into the deep
The world she rests
The world she sleeps

Breath easy
Gentle slumber
For when the hour is right
The sun will rise

Hear the voices
Hear the thunder
A tiny seed shall grow
The wonders of creation

a child's blush
lyrical
upon this beating place
'n' charms refuge
their smiles
promises
between time
like a feathered bookmark
in rich folds of stories
magic
whom finds it
can keep to starlings
florets
their hearts
surest feelings
of sunflower memories.

Traces of love that lingers still
Fire lights the darkness
Warms the coldest of breath

On a winters night
How dreams they come alive
By moonlight & starbright

Bodies moving to the rhythm
Of each gentle heart that beats
Prelude of the dancing silhouettes

Sometimes I’m that crazy poet
who composes sonnets
& offers them to an imaginary Juliet,

Other times I’m the knight
in scar-spangled armor
Scorched by the fiery breath
Of imagined dragons.

But some other times,

I am simply a ghost.

walk
through
the numbness
of the ice
and in
the walls
of complete
silence
feel the beating
of your heart
as pain
reminds
you that
the beauty
of this
life is made
clear by
the tears
and when
the warmth
finds you
breathe it
in deep
so the healing
of the smiles
will last longer

Afternoon lazy day
Sunbeams gone
Your home alone
This quietude

Skies of grey
Tis rain again
Night time soon
My dear old friend

Soft piano keys
My company
All i need
I tell myself

But what is truth
& what of fallacy

A memory a melody

A star glisten
melancholy opined
she spells a kiss brushed of snow
empathy sweetest upon
begins 'n' ends
love was then butterflies
to solemn nights

Shadows rayed
their saved whispers
said to have fallen
a wish
careth from hurt

of healing lavender.
