Our Grade 3s and 4s collaborated to create this ‘Beach Day’ themed sensory book for Park Lane TDSB students. During today’s visit, we had the opportunity to share our hard work with them! ☀️🌊🏖️🐠

Our class has been celebrating #EarthDay2023 all week. We started by reading Todd Parr (he/him)’s “The Earth Book” & making the 🌎 with #looseparts . We then painted the background of our #selfportraits with blue & green & chose to #reuse cardboard to make our faces. AllenbyPS_TDSB #tdsb

Our #InternationalDayOfPink activities. We spent a lot of time discussing what bullying is, why people bully and what we can do to stop bullying. I 💗 their friendship words like: accepting, inspired, connected, equality, kind, including & brave. AllenbyPS_TDSB #tdsb

Are you a collector? We brainstormed the different collections we have and then read “Le collectionneur de mots”. We understood the impact of using #kindwords so we made our own collection of #kindwords to post in our classroom. AllenbyPS_TDSB TDSB Well-Being

We are published authors! Our books arrived today, all written, edited, and illustrated by students. 📚

After reading these two read alouds, we were inspired to #build “des pièges pour capturer un farfadet ou un bonhomme de neige”. We made a plan for our traps visited & the AllenbyPS_TDSB #STEM & innovation lab to carry out our plan and build! #TDSBFrench #teamwork
