Really lucky to get to see behind the scenes today at Allegiant Stadium ahead of the NRL opener tomorrow. Thanks to Caz at the NRL for taking time to host me and to the South Sydney Rabbitohs 🐰 for sorting out.

As for the venue it’s no Hilton Park at Leigh…..but wow!!

Looking forward to attending the NRL double-header in Las Vegas this weekend. Be really interesting to see how the US market reacts to what is essentially a new sport in the States. Lots of learnings for RU and other sports. Be great to catch up with a few old faces as well!

Just been charged £7.80 for a pint of session IPA at a back street boozer in London! The lady behind the bar didn’t wear a mask, wasn’t called Dick Turpin or say “Stand and deliver” but I feel well and truly robbed 🙄

Might be the fact that I’m English, have a basic level of humour or both but I did chuckle every time I used the local and wonderfully named Foggy Bottom metro stop in Washington DC.😂

Brilliant week in Washington, Baltimore and Philly. It’s the biggest (and in my opinion the best) sports market in the world. The opportunity for rugby is incredible….but so is the competition for fans, sponsors, media and attention.

Blown away by how safe, clean, welcoming and beautiful Washington DC is. What a fantastic city!
