SJR’s deal for 25% of Manchester United saw him pay $33 each for shares valued at around $19. That’s the United premium. Ironically it’s the same theory that often works against them when they’re trying to sign a player - because it’s United you pay more.

The wait for Premier League approval for Sir Jim Ratcliffe's 25 per cent investment into Manchester United (to be confirmed shortly) may not take as long as previously expected. Now told there's hope of 4-6 weeks instead of 6-8.
