Went for a walk with my bike today - Glasgow to Glasgow. Magnificent !

Morning on Arran

A cycle ride round Arran - very windy ! You never gain as much downwind (however good it feels) as you lose in both time and happiness as you head the other way…. But great fun all the same :) VisitScotland @VisitArran

Went for a bike ride too :)

Was planing to cycle in Arran but too windy (for me). Went to see Hutton’s Unconformity instead. Rocks deposited on top of older rocks (rotated by 90deg) = the Earth was older than we thought…. The start of Geo science :)

A bike ride, a bacon role and a coffee - what could be better ? Perhaps not cycling into barbed wire!

I cheat and have a Gravel-bike chainset on my road bike - gives an extra couple of gears :)

An afternoon cycling up past Ben Lawyers - down to the cafe in Glen Lyon - round to Kenmore and along the south Loch Tay road back

Not all days in Scotland are like this - but the ones you remember are :)

When the weather is not completely xxxx Scotland really is rather good.
