After winning Mizzou's Three-Minute Thesis competition last fall, Ph.D. candidate Jacob Thomas is in South Carolina this week to compete at the regional level. We caught up with him last week to hear more about his pitch for a smaller, more affordable way to spot concussions.

In 2005, Stephen Ball, a professor in the College of Health Sciences and Extension, helped create the Stay Strong Stay Healthy program. The eight-week strength training program has assisted more than 20,000 older adults across five states. Read more: loom.ly/3uv48jM
