This is Joseph Birch. He is wanted by the court for failing to appear at his sentencing for a section 18 wounding in Morecambe.

Birch, 44, is 5ft 3in, and a medium build.

He has links to Bury.

Immediate sightings: do not approach him, but call 999.

We are currently dealing with an RTC on the Heysham -By-Pass which is currently closed between Middleton Rd and the roundabout at Imperial Rd. Motorists are advised to use Oxcliffe Road to access the Heysham area. we will update you as soon as the road is open
