I would send them a frank and honest email withdrawing from the process and explaining that it's because important roles like this deserve proper professional discussion, not highly qualified people sitting around likening themselves to a banana.

Ooooh reeeeaaaaalllllyyyy looking forward to reading this from Julie Pike - it sounds amazing from the blurb, and, imo The Last Spell Breather was one of the most underrated KS2 books of the last ten or so years. You definitely need both in your life!

This might be my favourite book going on A New Chapter - Children's Bookstore today. The Boy Who Said Wow by Todd Boss and Rashin Kheiriyeh - a picture book inspired by the true story of a nonverbal boy moved to speech at his first Mozart concert.

First time ordering from A New Chapter - Children's Bookstore. Absolutely blown away by the titles available, got a couple for the classroom and some for my little lad who's deaf. Will be ace to share these with him so he can see himself in stories 😍

A recommendation from Ashley Booth means we'll be using The Crown as part of assemblies to consider collaboration & how we impact on the environment.
The girl speaks from the future, wearing a crown made from the rubbish passed down by generations before her. Amazing illustrations.

I’m at a restaurant where you eat your course and then guess what the ingredients were. Goofy fun for all the family. I don’t want to say I’m an expert at it, but I can confidently tell you that this, is cheese.

Just ordered oysters in a bistro in Paris - they came with a very serviceable looking vinaigrette but I asked my waiter if there was any tobasco and he looked me dead in the eyes and went ‘ooh la la’ and then walked off. Feel like that’s Paris in a nutshell.

I'm off to Paris today - easily one of the best food cities in the world - if you're ever there may I suggest going and getting one the simplest things: a jambon beurre from Chez Aline. Crispy yet light baguette, melt in the mouth ham and salted Normandy butter. Perfection.
