Had a few mins spare earlier, so went to watch electric trains glide in & out of Kingâs Cross. London North Eastern Railway sets looked absolutelyđ. Have just realised how the stnâs huge mass seems to vanish when sun streams in. Amazingly in 1945 the barrels almost got replaced by a concrete flat roof

ok so it isn't London's *cheapest* night transport option BUT just now I was the only soul out on Uber Boat by Thames Clippers Venus Clipper open-air seats; and for what was basically a pvt 6km trip on a Rolls jet-powered boat, ÂŁ8.95 (+gin tin) I reckon IS good value. (unlike my photography)
Went to Sherborne, Dorset. I could post pics of its fine Abbey, or historic town centre... but what, or rather who, truly left the greatest impression on me was Anne, who runs the SWR Help station. The Falcons Will Fly!
We are ecstatic that The Corris Railway's brand new locomotive, No.10, will be visiting us in July this year, but not before our No.3 'Sir Haydn' heads back to the Corris in June. This will be the first time two Falcons have operated together in over 100 years!
