Sometimes I worry that I come across as angry or outspoken about the causes I care about. Then I realise words like angry/fiesty/outspoken are often used to describe women, to keep us in our 'place'. Fuck that.

A postal vote still isn’t accessible to me. I still have to rely on a sighted person.

The technology exists in many countries for accessible voting in person for blind & partially sighted people.

The only good use for Lime bikes

Anyone else get angry at the sheer amount of admin you have to do as a disabled/chronically ill person. Also, the amount of that admin which is just proving to different people that you really are ill and really do need the support you’re asking for.

We recently had to give an in class presentation and it fell on the week of my birthday.

I asked for my slot not to be on birthday and was honest about why.

The tutor wished me a happy birthday and gave me a different slot.

If that makes me a narcissist then so be it 🤷🏻‍♀️

It baffles me on a daily basis how little detail non-autistic people require to make decisions, answer questions, commit to things, or say yes to something, and how little information they provide when asking these things. I need to know exactly when, where, how, why and what!

So the Government don't want to give us welfare to live, but they also don't want to pay us for our labour...
