Yesterday, we learned about another type of figurative language: personification. Today, in honour of Earth Day coming up and inspired by the Lorax, Ss “spoke” to humans on behalf of the oceans, trees, air, earth etc.

This story is SO boring, right? Not when Ss did some creative writing by adding some examples of hyperbole to it.

We celebrated Earth Day a few days early with an assembly, some upcycled structure building, and a Word Work activity.
