Can we agree law professors shouldn't physically grab our law students in the manner that took place, ever. Colleagues defending this behavior or silent is just so disturbing. That Chemerinsky threatens discipline is even more troubling.

Based on the reported information, It is clear that Dean Chemerinsky & Prof Fisk mishandled the situation. The Dean was holding an official law school event in his home; it wasn't a purely private affair. He had apparently been warned of the possibility of protests in advance.
