Fingers crossed & weather permitting, Apr 13 is the season opening of the Cosmic Cafe! Exciting news: this year the food will be provided by Little Flower Cafe of Pasadena! Enjoy a sandwich, sweet treat, & YES, we still have hot dogs! Come up & see us, we have missed you!

We were originally planning to open the Cafe & guided tours this weekend, but due to snow on the mountain, road closures, and potentially more snow this Friday, we have delayed opening to next weekend, April 13. Thank you for your patience and we can't wait to see you!

Sadly, Mother Nature has CANCELLED the Apr 8 Solar Eclipse event for us. Rainstorms & cold temps over Easter weekend created 10' of new snow & caused road closures at the Observatory - another storm is forecast for this Fri 4/5. Be safe & enjoy the eclipse wherever you are!

APR 8 SOLAR ECLIPSE EVENT - FREE & OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! We will stream the eclipse live to our Auditorium, weather permitting. The base of the 150-foot solar tower telescope will also be open.
