A super co-ordinated Scottish Labour campaign day in Edinburgh East and Musselburgh!

Back to Craigentinny this afternoon for some excellent conversations.

People are looking for a government with a serious plan to fix things: fix the economy, fix the NHS, fix the lack of progress on net zero. Only Scottish Labour is offering that.

Crisp Spring morning in Musselburgh campaigning for Chris Murray many voters switching from the SNP and putting their trust in Chris to deliver for our area.

Great to be out talking to people in Musselburgh this morning - interesting conversations with people saying only Labour can get the Tories out of Downing Street.

Change is coming.

Scots are turning away from the division and decline of both the Tories and the SNP.

We are taking nothing for granted and working hard to earn your trust and support.

Change is possible and Labour is ready to deliver it.

The polls show that many voters are switching to Scottish Labour - as do many by elections. But we will keep working hard - we take no voter or community for granted - and are determined to serve Scotland.

Several recent polls suggest Labour is winning in Edinburgh East & Musselburgh. That matches the conversations I have on the doorstep.

People are desperate for change, for competence, and an end to chaos.

But no vote has been cast! I’m working hard for every vote.

Not a single vote has yet been cast: The only poll that matters is the General Election.

Our responsibility to communities crying out for change is to keep focussed, keep listening, keep campaigning & keep working for a Labour Government.

The SNP will lose more than 7 seats. Scottish Labour are on course to deliver the change that Scotland needs.

Great to visit FareShare today at their Edinburgh depot with Anas Sarwar to hear about their work helping get food to people who need it.

The cost of living crisis is causing difficulty for so many, but the work of FareShare staff and volunteers makes such a difference.

Our ⁦East Lothian Labour⁩ team has been out in the Musselburgh Spring sunshine.

We heard from lots of disillusioned former SNP voters - their sense of disappointment after 17 years is tangible - & a striking number are coming over to ⁦Scottish Labour⁩.

Changed days.

Great turnout for the ⁦Scottish Co-op Party⁩ campaign day as we head out from ⁦Prestonpans Labour Club⁩ to listen to and talk with voters across East Lothian this morning.

Local and national issues raised on the doorstep this afternoon. Most importantly Chris Murray is really taking the time to chat and to listen. It’s time to have an MP in Parliament who will stand up and speak up for Musselburgh.
