Now that’s a sky full of stars!

Each one of those tiny white dots is a star. Starburst galaxy M82 sprouts new stars 10 times faster than our Milky Way. NASA Webb Telescope caught this view using its infrared vision.

You and me belong together 💕 🎵

This Hubble image is of spiral galaxy NGC 5996 & its smaller companion galaxy NGC 5994. The cores of these two galaxies are separated by about 40,000 light years, which is pretty close on a galactic scale!

Our friends at LIGO detected their first gravitational waves from a binary black hole collision in 2015, in line with Einstein’s general theory of relativity. Soon, our shoebox-sized BurstCube satellite will join the hunt for gamma rays from these events. nasa.gov/universe/nsfs-…

This view of Monday's solar eclipse is totality EPIC!

NASA's Earth Polychromatic Imaging Camera (EPIC) on the NOAA/NASA DSCOVR satellite captured a view of the Moon's shadow as it passed over North America.

Originally released in celebration of Hubble's 100,000th orbit in 2008, this image shows a spectacular scene of starbirth.

About 170,000 light-years away, this nebula is in the Large Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy to our Milky Way: go.nasa.gov/4cMB0pM

In the final minutes, the clouds in Dallas dissipated and we got a clear view of the total solar eclipse! This view doesn’t do it justice — we could see a prominence, Venus, and Jupiter.

Did you get to see the eclipse?
