#Artemis II ⛽ simulation!
The SLS core stage stores 730,000 gallons of liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen that will fuel the RS-25 engines during lift-off.
Recently, teams with NASA's Exploration Ground Systems simulated loading the propellant onto the rocket, which helps them prepare for launch.
RS-25 developmental engine E0525 was recently removed from the Fred Haise Test Stand at Stennis Space Center.
This comes after the completion of the second 12-test certification series for a new RS-25 engine to be used beginning with NASA Artemis V.

Fueled up! ⛽ Teams conducted a cryogenic simulation for the NASA Artemis II mission today inside NASA's Kennedy Space Center Launch Control Center Firing Room 1. During this operation, the launch team practiced loading the super-cool liquid propellant on NASA_SLS.
Teams with NASA's Exploration Ground Systems recently installed the freshly rebuilt 1,000 KW General Electrical generators on crawler-transporter 2 at NASA's Kennedy Space Center.
The crawler is currently undergoing modifications to support NASA's future #Artemis missions.
