II ⛽ simulation!

The SLS core stage stores 730,000 gallons of liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen that will fuel the RS-25 engines during lift-off.

Recently, teams with NASA's Exploration Ground Systems simulated loading the propellant onto the rocket, which helps them prepare for launch.

RS-25 developmental engine E0525 was recently removed from the Fred Haise Test Stand at Stennis Space Center.

This comes after the completion of the second 12-test certification series for a new RS-25 engine to be used beginning with NASA Artemis V.
