One of the difficulties within any fostering community is ensuring there are enough carers who can accommodate more than one child at a time. When children come into care with brothers and sisters, we do whatever we can to keep them together. Could you foster more than one child?

Thinking about myths, there are two very popular ones which still exist in #fosteringcommunities : that there are upper age restrictions to being a foster carer and that teenagers are the hardest age group to foster.

This week is LGBT fostering and adoption week. For too long the myth has prevailed that those who identify as LGBT cannot foster - WRONG. You can #BeTheChange in a young person's life forever by being open to fostering no matter your age, gender or sexuality.

When a young person is in care, they need someone to look up to, someone to ask for help, advice and guidance. Could you be their mentor and take care of them in your home? If the answer is 'Yes', consider fostering with us.
