NHC has released the Tropical Cyclone Report for Tropical Storm #Philippe (September 23-October 6, 2023). Philippe was a long-lived tropical storm that brought heavy rainfall to the Leeward Islands.

NHC has released the Tropical Cyclone Report for Hurricane #Lee (September 5-16, 2023). Lee rapidly intensified to a category 5 hurricane over the Atlantic but avoided land as a hurricane. It made landfall as a post-tropical cyclone in Nova Scotia.

The World Meteorological Organization Hurricane Committee has retired #Otis and #Dora from the list of eastern Pacific names, replacing them with #Otilio and #Debora . Note that no names were retired from the Atlantic basin list--the first time since 2014.

NHC has released the Tropical Cyclone Report for Hurricane #Tammy (October 18-28, 2023). Tammy brought hurricane-force winds to Barbuda in the northeastern Leeward Islands.

NHC has released the Tropical Cyclone Report for Potential Tropical Cyclone #Twenty_Two (November 16-18, 2023). Although it did not become a tropical cyclone, the system produced heavy rains and flooding, resulting in 24 fatalities on Hispaniola.
