Deputy Speaker Steven Smith & Rep. Margaret Drye welcomed the 4H Club from Sullivan County to the Chamber and discussed what went into being a state legislator. NHVOICE State Rep Tim Cahill 🇺🇸 Rep. Tim Cahill also spoke to the group and discussed some of the issues being tackled under the Dome.

Speaker Emeritus Steve Shurtleff met w/the John Winant Scholars from West Point today. He gave the group a tour of the State House with stops along the way including the Gov. John Winant statue, Reps. Hall, the Gov's Office & the Hall of Flags!

Students from the NH YMCA Youth in Government Program were at the #NHStateHouse yesterday where Speaker Sherman Packard Packard welcomed them in and gave them a little history of the historic Chamber. Rep. Lanza also met w/students from Goffstown & presented ea. w/a state seal pin.

House Session was a busy day yesterday between hosting our friend Kim Jaehui, Consul General of the Republic of Korea and welcoming in our performers for Tartan Day that we just didn't get around to posting about all the fun we had!

Today is John Stark Day! #DYK ? HB 91 was signed by Governor Sununu on 04/13/17. This officially recognized John Stark Day during the school year instead of during April Vacation. This change was initiated by students from The Founders Academy in Manchester, NH!

It's fun to see representatives out and about in their communities! Congratulations to the Londonderry High School hockey team on their championship win!

The Veterans Caucus hosted Adjutant General David Mikolaities, members of the NHNG and U.S. Army Recruiting. They talked about the challenges of filling the many roles the military is tasked with, the role of our National Guard and in what ways the legislature can help.
