Gearing up Grampian to get its buzz on!
No Mow May will be back and bigger than ever this year! We’re leaving selected areas on our sites to grow wild in May to help pollinator species.

It’s Climate Change North East this week and the region is celebrating a decade of championing change. This week highlights how small changes can make a difference and reduce our carbon footprint and impact on the environment.

We are working with SEPA to look into the possibilities of replacing gas oil with Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) in our new building projects. HVO is known as green diesel or renewable diesel. Using this would allow us to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions by up to 90%!

Braemar Health Centre replaced their kerosene boiler with an air source heat pump - saving approx. 5 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year. Sheep wool insulation, solar panels, LED lights and EV charge points were also introduced. This pilot project is paving the way for future work!
