Rishi Sunak promised to cut waiting lists.

But they’ve actually gone up by 330,000.

Please RT if you think everyone should be aware of the Conservatives’ broken promises.

In just 3.5 months, this final year medical student will be a doctor.

Yet she can't plan, finance or find accommodation because the NHS won't tell her which hospital, or even region, she'll work in.

She's being treated contemptibly.

Please say you'll stop this, Wes Streeting MP.

Tonight's was not the first time the BBC has pointed out the systemic patient risks in private hospitals. The BBC has raised these exact same risks over the last 10 years. And yet nothing changes and patients still die. Would any other industry get away with this? 🧵

Did you know that GP practices across England delivered an astonishing 30 million appointments in February?

That’s 23% more than in February 2020.

But how much longer can GPs be expected to deliver more with less?

Hands up if this applies to you. 🙋🏻‍♀️

More and more nurses are exhausted, stressed and struggling to even pay for healthy food. Is this who you want delivering your care?

How can we expect the NHS to work well when its staff can’t afford to make ends meet?

This is what the Conservatives were doing to NHS waiting list in the 30 years before Covid and the current industrial action.

Please don’t let them gaslight you into thinking they would be successful but for those factors.

They’ve only ever overseen increasing waiting lists.

The thing that frustrates me more than most is that the surge in private providers is not driven by free market forces or competition, their growth is based solely on NHS money being funnelled to them. Public money to create profit from public ill-health. It seems to be a pattern

Analysis by Oxford University has shown, yet again, that outsourcing NHS services leads to poorer quality care

And yet 10% of planned operations are now being done by the private sector

Please RT if you agree the NHS should be about people, not profit

Jeez. The ceiling of an intensive care ward collapsed onto a patient on life support & hours later a falling lift broke a doctor's leg in a 24-hour snapshot of Britain's crumbling NHS hospitals last week

What a shocking indictment of 14 years of Tory Govt

BBC Newsnight uses our latest research to ask the question: why is the private sector charging the taxpayer so much to deliver more and more high cost cataract work on the NHS when patient needs haven't changed? We estimate that this might be costing the taxpayer £29 million

🚨GP APPRECIATION POST🚨

We rely on GPs. I don’t think I realised until I worked in the NHS quite how much. They don’t just see us for appointments - *everything* goes back to them.

We should be fighting to recruit & retain qualified & experienced GPs. We can’t afford not to.

In January 2011, just 17 people waiting longer than 12 hours on a trolley for an emergency hospital bed.

In January 2024, more than 50,000 people did.

Please RT so everyone can be aware of the damage the Conservatives have done to our NHS.

As of yesterday, care workers entering the UK on visas must leave their families behind.

These people come here to care for our sick and dying at their toughest moments.

Yet the Government are taking delight in tearing them away from their loved ones.

It’s a total disgrace.

NHS work done by Private Sector

On the face of it a ‘good idea’ but wait….

The money spent is not then invested in the NHS, the private sector do this at a profit & long term capacity is lost form NHS making NHS a more reliant
