We rely on GPs. I don’t think I realised until I worked in the NHS quite how much. They don’t just see us for appointments - *everything* goes back to them.

We should be fighting to recruit & retain qualified & experienced GPs. We can’t afford not to.

In January 2011, just 17 people waiting longer than 12 hours on a trolley for an emergency hospital bed.

In January 2024, more than 50,000 people did.
