Adrienne Beloin is doing vital work in our community - she deserves respect, as do all city employees. The Chair of the Manchester Board of Mayor and Alderman has created a hostile and unprofessional environment that impedes the city’s ability to get work done and succeed.

At pro-LGBTQ news conference to speak out against several bills in the legislature, Erin George-Kelly of Waypoint voices opposition to SB341, which she says would require teachers to 'out' students to parents

A pretty remarkable day for pro-housing policies in New Hampshire!

ADUs, parking reform, and duplexes all passed the State House with bipartisan support.

All are more modest than other states but still would be a big improvement over the status quo.

Passed the House today! My bipartisan parking bill addresses issues with unnecessary local rules for over-paving residential lots, preventing an ADU or addition. 2 parking spaces is the same size as a studio apartment. Build more housing on existing infrastructure.

VICTORY: In a vote of 283-80 the NH House just voted to annul criminal convictions for misdemeanor possession of small amounts of marijuana.

This morning the NH House of Representatives passed HB 1400. This bill would change parking minimums statewide to 1 per unit. We’re so thankful for the strong bipartisan support on this bill. It’s good to see all of us working together to address the housing crisis

Today a slim majority of state reps showed that they care more about their political and monetary interest over the needs and wants of Granite Staters. HB1115 passing while we are in the middle of a housing crisis shows just how out of touch some of these reps are

Young progressive lawmakers such as Rep. Cam Kenney are fighting for tenant rights in NH. Disappointed to see HB1115 pass by a slim margin today. Renters deserve better.

Rep. Bob Lynn speaks to his egregious bill that would allow landlords to verify tenants at the end of their lease for no reason. He claims this won’t make NH’s homelessness situation worse but how could it not? Disgraceful.

Thanks to Rep. Rep. Alexis Simpson for a moving speech on why sports bans are a step backward for NH and a serious breach of privacy for all students, transgender and cisgender alike

We’re in session all day today— one bill aims to discriminate against + BAN 1% of students from the opportunity to participate in school sports. To that I say, 𝑳𝑬𝑻 𝑨𝑳𝑳 𝑲𝑰𝑫𝑺 𝑷𝑳𝑨𝒀 🩵🩷🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈🇺🇸
