Geog & Env Sciences Spain field trip draws to a close. Great couple of days in Malaga and on the costa. Students have been great. But overwhelming feelings are of sadness and joy as we pay tribute to Graham Mowl on #laultima . What a legacy he leaves!

🌊 The Marine Management Organisation Marine Management Organisation were with us today Northumbria Uni working with students on KE5028 module who were using a board game to understand and apply coastal and marine planning strategies.
Yesterday on the #InternationalDevelopment MSc fieldtrip we had a great tour exploring colonial legacies in #Kochi . Today we participated in a roundtable discussion on the #SDGs in #Kerala & #India at #RajagiriCollege . Great to exchange perspectives with staff & students!

Today we have taken Geog & Env Sciences foundation years students to #Northumberland coast. We discussed how combined geo-, hydro, cryo- and biologic processes shape the landscape. Thanks to strong winds students experienced first hand how ventifact are formed! 🌍🌊🐚🦐🌬️🪨🙂🎓
