Slightly warmer temps are in store for today with winds out of the southeast. With moisture increasing due to the southeast winds, it will feel muggier than it has the last few days. Milder temps will be noticeable tonight with most of the area in the 60s instead of 50s.

Another cool night is in store as temps fall back into the 50s for most of the region. Those along the coast will remain in the low 60s. Onshore flow returns through the night.

Drier conditions will continue today under clear skies. Highs will range from the lower to upper 80s with lows tonight dropping into the 50s inland & 60s near the coast. Northwest winds today will shift to the southeast tonight which will begin to increase moisture.

There is a Coastal Flood Advisory in effect for the Gulf-facing beaches of the Middle Texas Coast through this evening due to elevated and long period swells. In addition, the rip currents risk has been upgraded to Moderate through Thursday afternoon.
