Heavy, wet snow will develop across parts of the Northeast Wed afternoon & continuing into early Fri. The wet snow combined with strong wind gusts may also cause tree damage and power outages. Moderate coastal flooding is also expected late Wed through Thu along Northeast coast.

A threat of a severe weather outbreak today across the Ohio Valley, with the risk of severe weather also extending into the Southeast. Strong and potentially long-track tornadoes are possible from Indiana and Ohio south into the Mid South, as well as damaging winds & large hail.

There is potential for a substantial severe weather outbreak, possibly including a few significant/long-track tornadoes Tuesday afternoon and evening, with highest probability centered over Ohio vicinity, and extending southward across the Ohio and Tennessee
Valleys.
