Digging out from the latest winter storm? Remember, if it’s heavy snow, take it slow!

Each year many people die from heart attacks brought on by shoveling snow. Pace yourself, use your legs and not your back, and take breaks.

Whitesboro , just outside Utica, courtesy of 511ny.org. As temps continue to plummet, be careful. Previously wet roads, also now with no daylight to warm them, may get icier - plus a coating of snow on top. Slow down, stay safe.
