In response to recent events in Israel, Manhattan South Community Affairs will be out visiting synagogues to demonstrate our continued partnership & support of local houses of worship.

NYPD Manhattan South wants to thank Chief Chell & Commissioner Daughtry for attending today’s Mayor’s Midtown Citizens Meeting. Today’s award went to NYPDTimesSquare PO’s Pepperman & Soto who while conducting a car stop arrested an individual who was in possession of a loaded firearm.

Today NYPD Manhattan South escorted players from the Peter Stuyvesant Little League Spring Opening. Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine (in tan coat), New York Mets pitcher Dwight “Doc” Gooden, & Mr & Mrs Met were there.  30 NYPD Auxiliary from PBMS and various Precicnts also joined.

According to the USGS, aftershocks could still be felt in the next week. A 50% probability of magnitude 3+, a 15% chance of quakes of magnitude 4+, & 3% a chance exists for an earthquake of similar or larger magnitude.

There are no words for the loss of Police Officer Jonathan Diller. We pray for his beautiful family as they try and get through this difficult time. He will forever be our hero and our brother, and his ultimate sacrifice will never be forgotten.

NYPD Manhattan South DC McCormack rode the #6 line as the exciting nightlife of this great city started. Speaking with the riding public they voiced their concerns about the system late at night. In the “CITY THAT NEVER SLEEPS” neither does the NYPD’s commitment to rider safety. NYPD NEWS

Tonight NYPD Manhattan South DC Beaudette rode the # 1 line during the evening commute. He spoke one on one with riders & listened to their concerns. From Patrol Officer’s to our Executives the NYPD are working together as we continue to make the NYC Transit System safe for all who ride.

Today, the NYPD is conducting an initiative called #ChiefsontheTrain .

NYPD leadership will be visible & active throughout the NYCT Subway system to interact and engage with New Yorkers & cops— say hello and ride safe.
