Customs detector dog teams recently joined 17 fellow agencies for dog training workshops in Trentham, Wellington. This was an amazing opportunity for Customs to be able to share and have discussions about our dog training programmes, as well as and build relationships.

The NZ-EU Free Trade Agreement enters into force today (1 May 2024), providing access to one of the world’s biggest trading markets.

A 45-year old Wellington man has been arrested by Customs, and is due in Court today to be charged with exporting and possessing child sexual exploitation material.

A joint Customs and New Zealand Police operation has halted a significant criminal syndicate’s plans after intercepting 50 kilograms of cocaine from an imported shipment.
