NRO welcomed acting USD (I&S) Hon. Milancy Harris on her first site visit to our operations center, where she met with Director Dr. Chris Scolese, Principal Deputy Director Dr. Troy Meink, senior leaders, and site staff for mission and operational briefings.

The first spaceflight of the Shuttle program in 1981 was a milestone that opened the door for countless discoveries in space then and today. 🚀🌎

We’ve got a busy day at booth 1456! Stop by to hear presentations on NRO’s inclusive culture, commercial engagement, and legacy of innovation.

Earlier this week Matt O’Kane, Director, National Security Programs Branch, Office of Management and Budget, visited the team at ADF-C to understand the site’s tri-agency mission operations.

Upon arrival, the team donned glasses and caught a glimpse of the historic solar eclipse.
