Rapunzel was based off Persian poem called Shahnameh about Rudāba who lowered her hair down from her palace so her lover could use it as a rope to climb up. The premise of the story is long strong magical hair & we are supposed to believe it belonged to a blonde german?

Maybe it's a good night to rewatch BARABBAS (1961) which shot its crucifixion during an actual solar eclipse with amazing results. I wondering if some cinema somewhere is showing it today.
