#NRCS organized 3 days long Red Cross Emergency Clinic in earthquake affected Darma Municipality of Salyan District. A total of 997 people received general heath check up and MHPSS services along with free medicine.

#NRCS intensified heatwave awareness campaign in schools and communities of affected areas as temperature rises sharply affecting daily life of people. These activities are scaled up with support form American Red Cross, Finnish Red Cross, IFRC and RCRC climate centre.

A total of 362 earthquake affected people received health care services in an emergency clinic established at Darma Municipality of Salyan district in Nepal. The clinic is being supported by #IFRC and #CanadianRedCross .

#NRCS Volunteers are mobilized for messaging related to extreme heat in different parts of the country through miking, media boosting, volunteers mobilization, postering with financial and technical support from IFRC, American Red Cross, Finnish Red Cross, RCRC Climate center .

Fire Fighting simulation exercise in Khalanga, Salyan District. The event was organized jointly by Nepal Army and NRCS district chapter. Such community based exercises are important to impart awareness, response skill as well as test the readiness of the local response mechanism.

Nepal Youth Red Circle Tri-Chandra organized 3 Days Self Defense Training in campus premised to capacitate the youths to defend themselves from the violence. Selected youths got developed basic physical self defense awareness and skills to avoid/prevent risks/violence.

Lessons Learn and Recovery Planning Workshop of Bajhang EQ response completed. The response reached to 3000 hh with relief support, 249 emergency shelter, 660 multipurpose cash, 1000 persons with PSS & Preventive Health message and 450 PGI orientation.

NRCS Bhaktapur District Chapter mobilized two first aid teams consisting of 10 members in each to provide FA services during Bisket Jatra-a 9 days long annual cultural celebration. Celebration takes place both day and night and many people get sick and wounded during the period.

#NRCS District Chapter Rukum West with support from Karnali Earthquake response operation runs sexual and gender based violence prevention sessions in remote communities. These session cover what is SGBV, who are most at risk group, preventive measures and legal provisions.

Bagmati Province level Junior Youth Red Cross seminar was organized in Hetauda, Makwanpur. A total of 85 Junior and Youth Red Cross members from 11 districts participated. The seminar celebrated the achievements so far and finalized provincial priorities and plan for next year.

Nepal Red Cross volunteers are engaged to enter names of beneficiaries of cash support for shelter construction of Karnali EQ affected households. So far more than 20,430 beneficiaries of Jajarkot and Rukum East districts are registered @BipadPortal.
