It's been more than 10 months now. 3 million people can't wait around for Rishi Sunak to get over the denial phase of facing his mistakes.
We need action and we need it now. I urge HM Treasury to meet with APPG Gaps in Support as soon as possible.

In our session yesterday looking ahead to #Budget2021 , @SteveBakerHW asked:
🗣️'Isn't there a case to say to the Chancellor [...] you need to deliver some justice for people who've been excluded from some of your support schemes?'
Vicky Pryce responded:
🗣️'I would say yes.'
Chancellor has to accept there are serious gaps in self-employed support schemes & make help for 3m #Excluded a focus of Budget next month
It's a scandal that 10 months into this crisis. so many are still without support

Pleased to add my name to this letter. Rishi Sunak needs to listen to MPs of all parties - he has got it wrong leaving people behind. I’ve written to him with suggestions, partic. for directors paid via dividends, he should look again at this & suggestions from APPG Gaps in Support
🏴Spanner🏴 Not in the slightest. Continue to champion #excluded . I was at the APPG Gaps in Support earlier this week and have signed Jamie Stone MP's letter to the Chancellor. As my party's Health & Social Care Spokesperson, I speak regularly on other issues too!
Here is the original letter from the Chancellor and here is my reply drafted on behalf of the APPG Gaps in Support. This has huge cross-party support from the MPs so hopefully, Rishi Sunak and Jesse Norman will start listening. ForgottenLtd BBC Politics Andy Burnham #TIGS #DISS
Sunak's right not to recognise the 3 million figure - it's more like 4 million. They count the 900k businesses they've excluded rather than the 2 million company directors who run them, not to mention the 8 million people those businesses employ. ForgottenLtd ExcludedUK
Happy to have joined this group of MPs set up by Jamie Stone MP
The path back to economic security will be a long and difficult one, but at an absolute minimum the government must recognise the 3m #ExcludedUK and ensure furlough works for all.
Really pleased to add my name to Jamie Stone MP cross party letter to Rishi Sunak, who appears to be in denial about the plight of those ExcludedUK and #ForgottenLtd .
The Government's continued obfuscation on this issue has to stop.
A strongly worded letter has been sent to Rishi Sunak today from over 60 MPs cross-party from APPG Gaps in Support rebutting the ChX letter of the 2 Feb below. Letter to follow...ForgottenLtd BBC Politics LBC
3 m people have fallen between the cracks of the government’s worker support schemes. The Chancellor needs to stop denying that the 3m exist & start fixing the many gaps in support. I’ve joined MPs led by Jamie Stone MP to take him to task #excludeduk #ForgottenLtd APPG Gaps in Support
The cross-party support for those excluded from any Covid support is huge. The Chancellor needs to start listening & provide support to the millions who so far have had nothing ForgottenLtd ForgottenPAYE ExcludedUK
Pleased to sign this letter to Rishi Sunak 👇
Distinct lack of empathy here from the Chancellor for people who have found themselves excluded from public support.
He should join one of our Mayors calls with ExcludedUK members and listen to how people are struggling. If he did, he wouldn’t send another letter like this. 👇
