BHCPF 2.0 is a redesign of the programme aimed at achieving set programme and fiduciary goals.

The objectives of the meeting essentially included mainstreaming strategies for the implementation of Basic Health Care Provision Fund BHCPF
The Secretary of the BHCPF Ministerial Oversight Committee (MOC) Secretariat, Dr Muktar Mohammed presented a seminal paper on BHCPF 2.0.

Within the context of achieving Universal Health Coverage UHC in Nigeria, the DG/CEO National Health Insurance Authority NHIA, Dr Kelechi Ohiri hosted CEOs of SSHIAs at the Abuja Continental Hotel, on Friday, April 5, 2024.

At NHIA, in line with our mandate to achieve universal health coverage for all Nigerians, we are working closely with states and other partners to ensure that more Nigerians enjoy their right to health services through health insurance.

The theme of World Heath Day 2024 is “My health, my right”. It highlights the right of every person to quality health services, education, information, safe drinking water, clean air, good nutrition etc.

We join the global health community to celebrate World Health Day today which also marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the World Health Organization.
