At the 2024 #cohesionforum , I underlined the importance of cohesion policy for Europe’s solidarity.

Solidarity underpinned the past, underpins the present and must also underpin the future.

This was always Delors’ vision.

Interesting visit of the EU-funded Voinicel centre in Chisinau 🇲🇩

It provides psychological and educational support to over 230 children aged 0-3 years old with disabilities and their families in Chisinau and other areas. 

Investing in children is investing in the future.

With 🇲🇩 Labour Minister Buzu we discussed plans to reform the Labour Inspectorate & National Employment Agency. This is important for the enlargement process. 

Moldova should be part of the Youth Guarantee, it will soon join EaSI and work closely with European Labour Authority on fair mobility.

Important meeting with 🇲🇩 President Maia Sandu and Foreign Minister Mihai Popșoi to express our solidarity for the accession process.

Moldova is part of the European family 🇪🇺

We are committed to support it in carrying out enlargement-related employment and social reforms.

We spoke about the importance of Moldova's efforts to strengthen labour legislation and institutions, including to improve productivity & better match skills with job opportunities.

We discussed how social dialogue functions in 🇲🇩 and how to increase their capacities.

It is important to involve social partners in the 🇪🇺 accession process.
