I saw my younger self in the body cam footage of Gabby Petito and watching her reactions, made me relive the moments of when I was going through the same. I've been reflecting & thinking to myself, if i didn't get out when I did, i most likely would have had the same outcome.

It's also hard to listen to people talk about this Gabby situation, and say things like 'if she was being abused, why wouldn't she say anything, why would she cover for him and take the blame?' Manipulation, and gaslighting. There's so many reasons people hide their abuse

As someone whose been in a domestic abuse situation at a very young age, this entire Gabby Petito situation has honestly triggered me. From the minute i saw the body cam footage. I recognized all of the red flags immediately. (1)
