After a long day of what Hamlet reads, “words, words, words,” it is refreshing to get in some hard physical labour. The Geese Trail and South Duschenay are cleared of deadfall from the last windy days.

After a winter of going around and around the same ski trails, it is liberating to embark on a new season of adventure and exploration. #NewDayNewLake

The trails are now limitless.

It is bug-free heavenly in the backwoods right now, with a lifetime’s worth of little lakes and portages to visit.

Big thanks to these ski team members who were able to help wrangle the grooming equipment into the barn. Somethings are next to impossible by oneself, and easy with others. #teamwork

Pretty safe to say that Skidoo season is over here (unless your machine has bogie wheels and can run on anything). All packed away for the summer.

Watch out for waddling beavers on the roads! After spending the winter in a lodge together, now is the time when the momma beavers kick out last year’s kits, and the young ones are wandering searching for a home of their own. #SpringTime

Dec has been a super competent skier since he was U14, now with a chance to give back and make good use of his BPHE degree.
