Gotta love when pointing out South Asian writers and South Asian books exist for adaptations with South Asian actors is called “bringing negativity.” If your idea of positivity is erasure of everything that makes us who we are and putting us in all-white stories, you can keep it.

OR, here’s an idea, there are south Asian authors who already write romances featuring south Asian characters so how about we adapt those instead? Farah Heron, Alisha Rai, Sonali Dev, Suleikha Snyder, Nalini Singh (my god someone adapt Rebel Hard for these two!!).
