Now up to 22 protests this weekend against #HongKong ’s new draconian #Article23 national security legislation: 9 in the UK, 5 in Canada, 4 in the US, 2 in Australia + Japan & Taiwan.

In London, about 300 march in a protest (co-organized by HKDC) against the draconian new #Article23 national security legislation imposed by the authoritarian #HongKong government.
About two dozen such protests are happening worldwide this weekend.

Some staffers has been travelling back and forth Taipei and #Hongkong , now they will be likely stationed in Taipei.

As formerly a legislative assistant, I witnessed questionable administrative artifices. Yet, for this time, so many usual procedures are skipped. We all know that the Article 23 is bound to pass. But still, it is done so ugly just to prove that it is now one country, one system.
