Congratulations to Shaker junior Jack DeRoziere, who took the German National Exam in January and was one of 10 students to receive a gold medal. His excellent scores and interview earned him a scholarship and paid 3 week stay in Germany in July to study and explore the country!

The SHS Speech and Debate Novice Public Forum team finished first recently at a tournament hosted by Shenendehowa HS. Ninth-graders Aleena Saleem and Evelyn Lu are now qualified for the NYS Debate Tournament as well as the National Speech and Debate Organization’s Tournament.

Spread the “Word!” Every SHS student currently taking the Microsoft Office Certification Course has successfully passed the Word 2019 exam! “It demonstrates their commitment, diligence, and proficiency in mastering this essential software,” business department instructors said.
