5S had 100% #attendance this week and have earned £15 which we are banking, hoping to win it again!

Year 5 showed lots of #patience when making our automata in #designtechnology . We were really pleased with our results.

This half term 4A have been thinking about peace. We used the ideas from Picture News to create a peace chain that stretched all the way along the corridor. We wrote our messages of peace inside.

We learnt lots about fire safety from Hay Mills Fire Station including how to make safe exits, the importance of smoke detectors and to STOP, DROP AND ROLL if an item of our clothing catches fire.

Year 4 are currently listening to a talk from Hay Mills Fire Station about fire safety.

4S had an amazing time Kingsbury Water Park
We pond dipped, unleashed our inner Andy Goldsworthy making our own art work using natural materials, made boggarts using sticks and clay and of course had some fun in the adventure playground.

While lots of our friends were off today celebrating Eid, the remaining Year 3, 4 and 5 children enjoyed a yoga session together. #yoga

Today we have all taken part in #WearYellowDay to help raise awareness of #CysticFibrosis . Who knew we had so much yellow in our wardrobes? 💛

Year 4 are having a great day furthering their learning about the Anglo Saxons. 4A have found out that the Anglo Saxons did not have the luxury of toilet roll so have been investigating what the best alternative would be. Would it be moss? A sponge? Leaves? A stone? Or your hand?
