Welcome our Summer Intern, Morgan Jaeger!! Morgan graduated from ONW in 2022 and is a Junior at NW Missouri State. She is a Business Management and Marketing Major, serves as Alternative Spring Break President, as well as Sigma Kappa Vice President of Philanthropic Services.

The day after the 10th Celebration of Women's Giving Circle was as beautiful as the night before where we chose to award $30,000 in grants! $15,000 to 'A Voice for ALL Students' by our Sped Program, $10,000 to the OEHS Design Academy, and $5,000 to MTMS for their sensory room!

Hosting the WGC in her home 10 years ago gave Debbie Swinney a chance to support a cause she believes in while sharing her love of cooking for friends and family. Tonight is the 10 year Celebration. We cannot wait to see women coming together to make great things happen!

Debbie Swinney was the very first hostess ten years ago as we launched our OPSF Women’s Giving Circle. In fact, she hosted the group in her Cedar Creek home for the first two cycles. “I have loved this concept since Cindy and her team first proposed the idea.'

Debbie Swinney hosts this Spring’s event, and she is in the Spotlight. Debbie has a successful State Farm Insurance agency and served the Olathe community for more than 33 years and raised her family here. Her grandchildren now attend Olathe Public Schools.

OPSF dropped in this morning at Manchester Park to SURPRISE Katie Burke, a first grade teacher. She was awarded the E2 Award for May because she is a unique individual that truly takes that extra time to help her students grow. CONGRATS MRS. BURKE! Thanks Mainstreet CU!

In the WGC Spotlight this week is Denise Herman. She is a WGC original member, a district employee and her roots run deep. She has taught, coached and been an assistant principal in OPS for the past 26 years. She is a product of OPS and returned to home to serve as an educator.
